Dreaming God’s Dream—Stewardship Luncheon & Desserts
Location: Fellowship Hall
The First Congregational Church of Elgin’s Annual Stewardship Campaign is a fundraising effort to support the church’s operations and ministries. The 2025 campaign, themed “Dreaming God’s Dream,” is focused on encouraging members to increase or start giving to the church to fund its budget, which in turn supports staff, facilities and various programs. The campaign also emphasizes that stewardship involves more than just financial giving and includes using time, talent, and expertise to support the church community.

Join with your FCC family for an afternoon of fellowship and learning about how we can make our DREAMS a reality through generosity!
This year, the FCC Church Council, under the recommendation of the Ministry of Finance, has selected the theme of “Dream God’s Dream” for our 2026 Stewardship initiative. Through gracious and personal generosity, they believe that FCC can do wonderful things that could build on the many incredible outreach works that we are already doing in our community…we just need to discern where God is calling us to determine our next direction!
Potluck Luncheon & Dessert
Building on the new tradition initiated last year, we will be hosting a Potluck Luncheon with desserts immediately after church on Sunday, November 2 in Fellowship Hall. Join with your fellow congregants to hear about the options and exciting ways we can Dream about the future and continue to be a light in the Elgin community and beyond for years to come! We hope you’ll join us!
