Chancel Choir

The FCC Chancel Choir sings at the 9:30 am service each Sunday from September until June. The choir rehearses each Wednesday evening, from 7:30-9:00 in the choir room, and Sunday mornings from 8:45-9:15 in the sanctuary. In addition to Sunday mornings, the choir also sings for the Christmas Eve candlelight service. On Good Friday the choir presents a Lenten choral concert. The choir is open to anyone who loves to sing. New choir members are always welcome. No audition is necessary.

Handbell Choir

The FCC Chancel Ringers meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30, in the sanctuary, and play for the 9:30 service several times a year. This group is open to anyone from middle school age on up. You don’t need to know how to read music, although that is helpful.

The Great Elgin Pipe Organ Tour 2024-2025

Travel along with FCC music director and organist, Dr. Jeff Neufeld, as he and guests perform on the many pipe organs of Elgin’s churches, from the massive four-manual Austin/Rodgers organ at First United Methodist, to the small but might one-manual Casavant at Christ the Lord Lutheran.

Other Musical Opportunities

We like to enhance our music program with other instruments. If you play guitar, trumpet, flute, violin, or any other instrument, and would be willing to share your talents with the congregation from time to time, we can use you.
